- Lots of food, good company and citadels!
Last Friday night was the first BS outing and we went to Char's place for a potluck steamboat. I was huffing and puffing all the way to Char's house because I was carrying 8 BOTTLES OF DRINKS. STRONG ANOT. Haha, don't underestimate my petiteness. Reached there around 7 and since not everyone was there yet, we started off with our all time favourite, BRIDGE. Tristan and Nazreth were going around taking photos which explains why I have so many. Nazreth hates to be in photos though, so Char and I made it our personal mission to snap as many photos of him without him noticing. I got 3!The rest arrived at 7 plus and at first it didn't look like we had a lot of food, but then Xue li came and she brought $25 worth of balls! Fishballs, sotongballs, meatballs, all kinds! And the best thing was that she didn't need to bring fishballs because someone else was assigned to bring that -_- Then then then, Xiu min saved the day by bringing KFC!!! Wah, all of us wanted a piece of it esp the poly guys! Ben, Gareth the bottomless pit and Nazreth. Haha, it looked like we hadn't eaten for 10 years, the way we consumed the chicken! Tristan's red date soup was really good and surprisingly, one pot of it was enough! After dinner, I learnt a new game, Citadels! I absolutely love and and I want to buy it though it costs around $40. It's a strategy game, takes around an hour to play and 6-7 players is the optimum number. We managed to play two rounds and I won the second round! Was so happy! Tristan could have won it though, he was on par with me, but he overlooked it. He really made up for his first game where he got robbed or assinated 4/5 rounds. Woohoo, Citadels!!! Slept at 4 plus on Char's couch later that night/morning, was dead tired but had to prepare for camp meeting in the morning and I didn't like to leave stuff unsettled. Thanks to Char, Salome, Vin and most of all God, for giving this camp the right direction. Felt very settled after that long discussion :) PICTURES!!!  Bridge!
