- My army boy
Today is the 20th of May, 2008.This post is dedicated to my special boy. It has been exactly one month and 11 days since LQ went into army. Time flies surprisingly fast. I look forward to weekends more than ever, counting down the days where I can spend some time with him before the weekdays steal him away from me again. I'm glad that he's adjusted to army life and he's doing well in there, it's really blessed to be a child of God right dear? He tells me endless stories of his experiences, yet I don't find it boring, and I'm just happy to hear that he's happy. My prayers are with him every single day. I realise that you don't miss a person when you don't think of that person, that's easy in the day. But as night draws near, when you lie on your bed and try to fall asleep, he enters your mind and you can't help but think of him. I squeeze my eyes shut and pray for sleep to quickly whisk me away, to the next day. As I look back on the past year, I can see how much we've grown and what we've been through. Thanks for bearing with my bad moods, for giving in to me all the time, for making me feel special and protected. I can't tell you how blessed I am to have you. Don't ever go away all right? Today is the 20th of May 2008 and I'm thinking of you. |
