- One more week
I have been pleasantly surprised by the encouragements which my friends have sent or told me since LQ went to army. A big thank you to my girlfriends like Char, Ber, Lynn, Linda and Meiling, also to Alvin Tay who always to me on msn and also Alvin Chia, Greg and IT who tagged encouragements on my tagboard. Knowing that you all are concerned and take the time to do this makes me feel really blessed to have friends like you.It’s been a good week so far, a time of constant prayer everyday which is a habit I am starting to enjoy and not treat as a routine. Work is busy enough to keep me on my toes so I don’t really have time to think much about him. It’s already been a week since he went into army and time passes really fast, in another week he’ll be booking out, can’t wait! Ooh, and my birthday is coming right up, the big 20! My cell members and my brother say that I’m old already but I really don’t think so! I’m looking forward to my 20s, when I can vote, go to uni, get married, buy a house and so on. I think this next decade of my life will be one where many major decisions are being made and I’m quite excited to take these challenges head on. Anyway, I know my Friend’s Test is quite difficult, so I don’t blame you if you get below 50. Cheer up Char, you’re still my best friend haha! All the best to Char and Ber who are mugging for their exams! Love all of you! |
