The weekend of the 15th to the 17th was spent celebrating two very dear people's birthday's, Charity and Jared. It was Jared's 21st and he had a party in his house on Saturday night. Lots of people man, his relatives, classmates, cellmates, churchmates! Food was good, esp the curry and the company was fun although the vodka was a little too strong haha. Dear and I got him a Spongebob shirt, Jared you must wear it, we don't care!

Charity's birthday was chock-full of surprises man, I think I've worn myself out with all those late nights. So to start it off, her birthday was on Friday, 14th. Alvin and I were brainstorming on Wednesday night what we should do to surprise her the next night. We decided that 12am was too cliche cos it was done last year and she may have expected it again this year so instead we would surprise her at 2am when she was asleep! haha, we are so clever. We wouldn't be getting a cake cos we got that last year and she would get cake on Friday night so we would have her drink a tall glass of milo topped with whipped cream and she would have to drink it all up.

So on Thursday night, Alvin and I went to Ikea, got tealights and 5 tall glasses, went to decorate it, then picked John and Lynn up at 1.30am. (Heh and thanks for the carpark lessons :p) There was a little joke here about Lynn coming down like matrix heh heh. So we went to my house to make milo and do planning as if it's a mission and then we headed over to Char's house at 2.30. Her mum had left the house keys for us under the mat so we opened the door quietly and did what each of us had to do. John was preparing the tealights, Lynn was to on the Jazz cd in her room and I had to pour the milo. So when John entered her room first to put the tealights, Char suddenly sat up and she lay down again. John got a shock, he hurriedly blew out the flame then ran out of her room. 4 of us were like, oh man, what if she knows already, then our plan is spoilt. But we decided to carry on. So we went in again and I put the milo down, Lynn finally figured how to work her cd player, John arranged the tealights and Alvin started taking photos of Charity. She then woke up and had a surprise. According to her, she didn't even know that she sat up -_- Oh, we couldn't find whipped cream so we bought honey stars. All of us had to drink up the milo, it's like super a lot a lot, and John helped us drink what we couldn't finish la, pei fu him. Took pictures then I was tired so just slept at the house. Success.

Friday. Another surprise coming up. Char was having dinner with Alvin at the Scarlet Hotel so Ber and I would go over to surprise her with cake. We bought 5 pink helium balloons and hunted for her favourite chocolate truffle cake from Prima Deli's and managed to cab there in time. Enlisting the help of the waiter and waitress, we got the cake set on a nice plate and came up behind her. Haha, she was super surprised and happy. Success.

Saturday afternoon at Botanic Gardens. 3 of us girls went to have a picnic there and got burnt, at least Ber and I did. We were sleeping in the sun for half and hour la, who wouldn't get burnt. An afternoon of girl talk, fun, laughter, taking photos and forfeits :) Played the number game and did many stupid forfeits which included rotating hips in the middle of a field, shouting 'I kill you! I kill you!' and using a branch to hit the side of the path, running through the bushes shouting 'I can't find, I can't find!' and running up and down the path shouting hysterically ' I must win!' Man, laughed so hard at each other. Only we would think of such silly dares. We rock!
