HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY TO JOANNE, ADELINE & JIYI!

I went to east coast park for a picnic after choir prac on Sunday. Ber and I were eating our food in the dark cos she waited for me to eat. haha. And we talked and listened to music and gazed at the stars. anyway, derek and I were talking about ronald macdonald and we laughed like crazy over this. I know this is racist and I'm sorry but it's funny to me. Haha, suddenly I feel guilty if I post it so check it out on derek-ha's blog.

My weekend was really packed but it was great! I attended the Asian Pacific Fire Conference on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. On Friday night Reinhard Bonnke was preaching partly about Matthew 25, the parable of the talents. He talked about it in a new perspective which I didn't know before. He likened the talents to responsibilitites which all of us have as servants of Christ. The responsibilty to save the lost.

Matthew 25:28-30
" Take the talent from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents. For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

If we make use of the responsibility God has given to us, as in nuturing it and building it up, God will add on to us. He will add on more responsibilities to us and we shouldn't see that as a burden, but as a priviledge. If we are able to reach out the few around us, God will send more and more along our ways. And it's vice versa. If we don't work on the responsibility God has given to us, we will be like the lazy servant who did not invest in the talent he was assigned to, and that's a waste. I guess this part of the sermon really struck me and got me thinking about what I was doing to my talent, my responsibility. Was doing what I'm doing now honoring God? Well, that's for me to reflect on.

Reached home at 2 am that night, i mean morning with the craving for roti bomb, sheesh, I'm craving for it, anyone wanna have supper with me???

On a lighter note, I stayed over at Ber's house on sat night to watch the World Cup. Portugal vs England. Cristiano Ronaldo is so cute, I like his rosy cheeks. hahaha. Crouch was weird man, he's so extremely tall and his legs look like sticks. Lampard's cute but it looks like his hair is thinning. haha. Ber and I were mainly concentrating on the hot guys rather than the game itself. But well, I wasn't on any side at all so I have no qualms about Portugal winning. We fell asleep halfway through the next game, Brazil vs France. Well, the previous champs are down, can't really believe it, since I think Brazil is good. But I like France's jersey better. Heehee.

I went to take pics of The Art House yesterday with dong and gene for DMA. We had to take a night shot of it so we went to play CS at Bugis yesterday which I died countless times and went wandering around Fullerton Hotel and Esplanade to wait for the sky to grow dark. Fullerton's really nice! I wanna get married there man, it's like so classy and I love the exterior :) The coyfish there are cute too, with their big big mouths and non-stop sucking. Anderson bridge is a nice windy place to sit down and close your eyes at, other than at the beach. I guess it's one of the few places in S'pore that I feel is a nice place to just sit and think. By the time we took the required pictures and I got back home it was 9.30 pm where i realised to my dismay that no one was home and I was locked out. Unfortunately, I didn't have my keys with me so I had to go over to char's house to slack. And by the time I got home it was 10.30. Tired. Haha, the reason i'm blogging so much is because I was bored during DMA lesson just now. tatas.
