- Big day tomorrow 25/05
MMR presentation tmr! GREAT. I'm rushing my ppt at the moment and i'm so so so tired my eyelids are closing. oh wadeva, i'll just finish it up tmr, anyway i have a three and a half hour break. And i'm only halfway through my slides. With almost nothing on research objectives. OM down, DMA finished. OM was ok, even though it's easy i couldn't remember some of the points. Seems like the easier the test gets, the more i forget. Moreover, the song 'Close to You' was playing over and over and over in my head during the first 10 mins of the test! And if that wasn't enough, the contact lens in my right eye was folded cos i rubbed it too hard and i had blur vision throughout the whole test. Let's say it wasn't a pleasant experience when you're trying desperately to think of the answers while you're squinting like mad and 'Why do birds suddenly appear...' is drumming incessantly in your head. Well, must be because of DMA! Which brings me to my next topic, DMA!!! The unfortunate series of events began yesterday, when i brought the ibook home to do my DMA, which is a 1 min 30 sec trailer on tiramisu. So i happily completed my trailer in 4 hours, at 1 am and went to bed not knowing what would befall me the next day. So today, during our 5 hour break, beacuse there was no feature writing, i brought out the ibbok to show joan what i had completed. BUT ALAS!!! No matter how many times i tried to open my file from my zen, it wouldn't work! Final cut pro would just quit immediately. So gene helped me and guess what he found out when he asked ms kwa? I had to first save my file in the desktop before copying it into my zen. I had copied it straight into my zen hence this!!!! WAHHHHHHHHHH!!!! So how? No choice, do it all over again! I was practically screaming in the lab. Jessica and Joan are my witnesses. I was so distressed!!! After crying for 10 hours and banging my pretty head against the wall, I took around 1 hour plus to finish the whole trailer, thank God i saved a partial clip in the desktop so i could continue from there. And so, it's done. Whew! I learnt a lesson man. and it's to all my other classmates too. Ok, i'm going to sleep now. PRESENTATION I CAN'T WAIT! ~yeah right. |
