super late update.
anw, this was one of the fun fun new years i had!
i was quite into the festive mood even though i didn't really eat that much ba gua and pineapple tarts.
the weekend was great...
finally could relax for 4 straight days.

shiok shiok shiok! haha..
ex-cell went to titus house to have a steamboat and we bought loads of stuff.
haha i didn't really help much in the preparation cos i was taking photos. oops..
good fellowship beats all other things :)

there was another steamboat with my family and close relatives on saturday night.
followed by church on sunday then had to rush off for lunch at my aunt's place.
curry with bee hoon and pig's trotters! like uber good can!!!
we went to malaysia in the night to visit my mum's side and there's a newborn baby!
only one month old! like how cute can?
anyway my mum's side is like super the big cos my greatgrandmother has 15, yes, 15 children.
she sold some away so there's like 9 now and then the oldest is my grandma.
and yes, my greatgrandmother is still alive and kicking!!!
she's 80 + but she moves around without any help.
like zai can. next time i also want to be like that.
yeah and the highlight of the night!

monday dawns and yet another steamboat for lunch with my family.
i am a damn zai steamboat eater liao.
every year can stay at the table for at least 2 hours.
haha. compete with my dad and bro see who quit first.
went to my other aunt's house on my dad's side in the evening and left halfway to agnes house where we ate till we bloated.
her mum's cooking rockS! BIG TIME!
esp the curry! yums.
and if you eat the sweet potato porridge with curry it's like the combo of the combo!
cos the porridge is a bit bland so mixed with the saltiness of the curry you can close your eyes in esctasy.
ok sounds like a drug.
i caught a movie with charity and bernice after that, i not stupid too.
and the most ridiculous thing happened in the cinema.
smartass charity led us to the WRONG CINEMA!!!!
our show was at 9.55 pm and we got in at around 10.05 pm and were pleased to discover that the trailer hadn't started yet.
so we took our time to go to the toilet and when the trailer started a few people came to our seats and they were like," excuse me, i think you got the wrong seats. these are ours."
and charity was like," no. we are at the correct seats. rachel, show them our ticket."
and when we compared tickets the people were like," oh i think you're in the wrong cinema."
it was super the embarassing but heck la good thing it was dark and bernice was trying to cover her face with her hair!
hailarious and we were laughing like duno wad...
haha charity blur liao.

anyway. tuesday was slacky other than dvpa in the morning.
i must say our dvpa filming was done relatively fast and efficiently and it was fun playing with water and splashing nisa! hhaa.
fun fun :)
i was dying on the way back from boon lay cos i didn't eat breakfast nor lunch so i went straight to lynn's place.
agnes was there too and after we po mah for a while we went to tm to eat pastamania and met charity there.
ok the salmon rocks but i think the tomato herb cream sauce was a bit too salty but overall i'll give it a 7/10.
we popped by to charity's place where linda and salome joined us and we played around with her hair set.
we created curls and frizzles and what have you.
haha so girly i can't stand it!
we proceeded to my house to watch 'are we there yet'?
it's a crazy and wacky show and i fully recommend it to anyone and everyone.

well i think this year the ang pao not bad.
one of my neighbours actually gave me $8 when all i say is hello uncle, hello auntie.
can you imagine if i'm their niece or daughter? like wow.

projects are piling up on me and my fellow classmates as the deadlines next week draw closer. arghhh. chiong ah!
got my econs results today.
71/100. not bad considering that i studied on the day itself and i didn't really understand some of it.
actually i'm like super slack this sem.
everyday late and chiong assignments and projects last minute.
rachel!!!! must buck up next sem!!!!

oh i bought memoirs of a geisha book.
like so nice! it's like so detailed and feelings are so much more expressed than in the movie.
rocks lah. somemore popular got 20% discount.
go buy if you have nothing to do and have excess reserves. oops.
too much of econs.
